Week 23  May 28, 2018 Hey everyone, another one down for your boy. Was an awesome week, I have learned to really excpect the weirdest things here... Especially here in Braga! But its the best here! This week was awesome, Rosa Maria was baptized. She is the mom of one of my great friends here, Sol Amor. But yeah, the mission life by now is feeling like my normal lifestyle now! May 22 - We had a facetime in the morning with a bunch of missionaries, and the mission president! Then we went out and worked. In one of the more sketchy areas. I saw lots of strange things, as well as a road full of police! Pretty interesting night! May 23 - In the morning Elder Baugh and I went and put up a little banner thing in downtown and just contacted people walking around explaining more about our church, and setting things up for later. Made a killer seafood salad for lunch. Then we went to church and Elder Baugh gave Rosa Maria the baptism interview! Following that we got a call from Se...

Week 22 - Graças a Deus May 21, 2018 Hey everyone! I started adding names to my weeks ahah! Also if there's anything that I don't email enough about, or anything that you'd like to know more about in these emails just let me know!  May 15th - We worked super hard but not much luck. Before we went home we met a mother and a daughter and had a great talk. They told us with tears in their eyes how lucky we were to be from North America. They expressed how so many people would give anything to live there. They told us to remember how lucky we were and to live life there for them. May 16th - We visited a less active member and things were awesome there! There was a "Carnival de Universidades" a university party in the streets of downtown! There were floats, crazy people, lots of drinks hahah, and even a guy in a Shaq jersey! It was crazy, and we had to walk right through it to get to our appoinments! Maio 17th - Imma just skip to the main part of the da...

Week 21 May 14, 2018 Hey everyone! Was an amazing week because it was Mother's Day, and I got to Skype the fam! But also in general it was a pretty good week, the mish is always chill though with a good comp like Elder Baugh. May 8th - Had lunch with the Soares family! That was awesome, they're one of my favourite fams here for sure! Then we went and visited a less active member. He was thrilled to see us, legit! Then we walked and talked with a mother and daughter, they were super interested so we got their number, then passed it on to the Sisters! Then a man Gjerdmun came up and talked to us, in English. He is from Norway, but currently lives in the middle of a forrest on the mountain with his family here in Braga. He had some mormon friends, and we just had a good chat! May 9th - Typical day in the office, grindin hard but no major success. Our effort and presence here in Portugal was hopefully portrayed though aha. May 10th - Crazy day! All our appointments d...

Week 20

Week 20 May 7, 2018 Hey everyone! Awesome week! The weather is freakin hot! Around 30º every day! I'm a fan of it, but sometimes it is just so dang hot for walking around all day in pants and a dress shirt! But nothing I can't handle! May 1st - Full day of work, and we worked with a member Diego! He is great, love that guy. He is preparing his mission papers to put in during September, a year from his baptism! We taught our investigater Jose, things went great.  May 2nd - Elder Baugh and I were doing daily planning when we got a call we needed to take a train to Porto to pick up some important papers! So we stopped planning and left for the train station. On the way there we ran into a member, Sol Amor, playing his guitar downtown! Then went to Porto, and on the way back we saw a guy walking his pig in the train station.... I asked a lady "Isto normalmente acontecer?" which means, "Does this normally happen?" She laughed and said nope. We had a g...
