WEEK 45   Staying in the House is Fun... Ya October 29, 2018 Hey everyone! Hahahah what a great week we had. First thing, our washing machine broke. Also I was a little bit sick for a couple days and the other Elders in my district have been sick the whole week! And then we have Elder Jardine.. he sprained his achilles and we have to stay in the house for a week. We found that out Thursday... I'll explain more about this durring my email! But the week was great. Oct 23rd, So Elder Jardine's foot started hurting... we tried working but he had to go home. There wasn't a specific moment that he could remember hurting his foot, but all he knew was that his foot hurt!  Oct 24th, So we started off the day with a district meeting which went good! After that we had to stay home because of Elder Jardine's foot. The thing was we had to meet up with Natalina and go to a gospel principles class on the other side of Porto. We did splits with the other Elders and then ...

WEEK 44 Great Find October 22, 2018 Hey everyone! Week 2 in Porto ja era! It was a good week and I'm really startin to love Porto and the people here! My comp is still twice the height of all the old women here, and he's still super awesome. We have great talks during the day haha. But as I've said before a good comp means a great life! I'm also over 10 months on the mission now, crazy! Anyways I'll jump into the week where we had a bunch of miracles! Oct 16, We had our district counsel in the morning, and then one of the Elders, Elder Vigne, in the district made some Brazilian style chicken which was killer. Then we went out working, the only thing that really came from our night was a contact with a man named Tomas. He said he talked with the missionaries in England and was looking for us here! We'll meet up with him one of these days! Oct 17th, Basic day, trying to figure out the area better and getting shut down in our contacts. We had lunch with...

WEEK 43 #Porto

Week 43 #Porto October 15, 2018 Hey everyone! Super great first week here in Porto! So my "son" actually is 6 foot 8! He's actually super cool and we like a bunch of the same things, like sports and tv series hahah. And he's a savage as well, so I'm constantly laughing. The other thing is that he speaks Portuguese super good!! It's crazy, I mean obviously he makes a fair share of mistakes and stuff but he speaks super well for being so new! So life's always good when you have a cool comp! But Porto is pretty cool! It's a super old and pretty place! It was named the best European stop of 2017 haha! Well that's what a pamphlet that we have says and it could just be biased, but Porto is beautiful. Another thing is that we are basically doing a "White Wash" which means 2 new missionaries in a new area. Elder Jardine already has 6 weeks here but we just moved to the other side of the city. So we're in a brand new area! It'll be coo...

WEEK 42 "Imma be a Dad in Porto"

WEEK 42 "Imma be a Dad in Porto" October 8, 2018 Hey everyone! First things first, shoutout to Domechop (Aidan Garry)! Happy birthday, even though it was yesterday! Proud of that guy as he's off to serve the people in the Philippines! Second thing, looks like I'm going back up north! Just in time for winter hahah. I'm going to the city of Porto! The main city of the mission that I was called to! But I'm for sure excited, I'll be going there as a District Leader and I'll be training another missionary and he's from Wyoming who is 6 foot 8! His name is Elder Jardine. I'm excited for the chance to be a dad! When you train a greenie (New missionary) you are called their dad of mission, or mom if you're a sister. So yeah imma be a dad! But this means I'm sayin bye to Carregado. Carregado will always have a special place in my heart, for me it is the area in which I actually learned Portuguese and grew up spiritually on the mission. I won...

WEEK 41 "Solid Week" October 1, 2018 Hey everyone! One more week until the next transfer! The time has been flyin! But life here is good, we've been doin our best and workin hard! This week I had an interview with President and it was so awesome, he's so chill! But yeah I'll start with the week!  25 de Set, we had a district counsel in the mornin and it went smoothly! But I was feeling sick the whole day, so I took some time to rest in the afternoon. Then we went back to work, I still felt sick but ya know, gotta work hard!  26 de Set, we went and visited Filipe in the morning. Ever since his baptism and meeting us he's been able to have so much more strength. He is epaleptic, and he has told us how much better he's been feeling as of lately! Then we went and worked, actually went up a little mountain and knocked doors on the side of the little mountain. Didn' work out too well, but it was worth a try! Then in the night we bumped int...
