Elder Parks Layton - Portugal Lisbon Mission

Week 36 "New Job" August 27, 2018 Hey everyone! First of all my pictures aren't uploading here anymore but they do in Santarem. So They'll be uploaded on my blog at some point throughout the weeks, usually Tuesday! But anyways, the transfers came in and I'm staying in Carregado for my third transfer here for what will be a transfer of full on Portuguese! Elder Terra will be leaving after only one transfer here! He's actually going to his home ward from when he was a 5 year old! But anyways, I will be a district leader and my companion will be Elder Morreira. He's from Rio de Janeiro Brazil! He has 4 transfers on the mission, so I guess now I'm the senior comp! Crazy how the time has been flyin! Now I will have had 5 comps in the field, all with different nationalities! I'm super excited and it's gonna be a killer time! Our investigateor Felipe's baptism was moved to this coming Saturday and we're gonna have a big Ward ...

WEEK 35 Church "Was Lit" August 20, 2018 Hey everyone! Another week in "Zona C"  and one of the best ones yet! We've been goin to work this week and having great experiences! Some of our investigators here include Felipe, Helder, Igor, Lizandra, Antony, Ana, Anderson, Amon, and some more! Another thing, I have been out here serving for 8 months! That's pretty crazy to think about... that means I am one third of the way done. I don't know how I feel about that!! I really have seen the blessings of my time and I'm really realizing how special it is that I can dedicate so much time to addin to my knowledge and focusing on the Lord. I can see how much I have grown spiritually. Week 34 -  "Where are you from?" August 13, 2018  Hey everyone! I have more time this week. It was a solid week out here on the Lord's grind. This week I made over 20 smoothies and made some Russian friends so I guess it was a successful week. The weather cooled down so it was actually workable. This P'day we went to a city Vila Franca de Xira and hiked a lil mountain with some other Elders. Was a sweet time! Anyways, let's go... August 7th, We had a district counsel and I brought some ties and did a tie trade with some of the Elders! When we got back to Carregado we taught a lesson with a member, Emanuel. He's awesome, likes bball, and all the same music as me. Anyways, we taught a woman Jaquiline! She is pregnant right now and we taught a lesson based around family and Christ. Week 33 - I Had no Time to Email August 6, 2018 Hey everyone! Sorry I don't have much time for emailing  today,  so if I don't respond to your email  today  I will try to next week. But I'm short on time because we went to Lisbon for a zone PDay! We went to Lisboa and that is why I had basically 0 time  today !! It was dope and we did some touristy stuff or whatever! This week was SO HOT, it was over 45 degrees every day and for missionary work that's a grind... But yeah this past week was super dope!! 31 de Julho, We started with a district counsel in Santarem. Then in the night we went and worked in Azambuja. We had a dinner apointment there in the night but we also had 2 appointments before the dinner... that ended up not working.
