Elder Parks Layton - Portugal Lisbon Mission

Week 27 - Tchao Presidente June 25, 2018 Hey everyone! It was a crazy (June 21st) and good week and I only have 6 more days in the Portugal Porto mission... next week I will be emailing you from the Lisbon Portugal Mission! Crazy to think actually! But cool that I will have served in two different missions! Which also means I'll be getting a new mission president. I am super excited though! Anyways here was my week... 19 de Junho, We started off with a District Meeting in the morning. Which always means 3 hours on the bus to Santarem, there and back. Week 26 - Metade do Ano June 18, 2018 Hey everyone! Another dope week here in Carregado! It's even better since I'm starting to meet more people! Yeah it's a really small town here so I've gotten to know some nonmembers off the streets as well. But yeah it's great and getting hot! It even got up to 37 degrees Celcius this week! Check out the blog to see me speak a little bit of Portuguese. June 12th, Started with a district meeting.. which meant another hour and a half bus ride to Santarem! Then an hour and a half back. Then some lunch! Then getting shut down knockin some doors, classic! June 13th, Nothing much happened, nobody was able to meet with us and we just got shutdown lots. We did go and teach one investigater. It was a quick lesson but she had a cute baby cat that kept jumping on to me, and hitting my legs with its paw. The bad part is my companion, Elder Fajardo, is allergic to cats so he got really sick and do we had to go home! June 1...

Week 25 -  Eu Actualmente Posso Falar Portuguese Agora! June 11, 2018 Hey everyone! Been an awesome week, I'm lovin Carregado. It's crazy though I can actually understand and speak Potuguese really well all of the sudden! I've been speaking only Portuguese with my companion, and I have not had any problems yet! Sooo life couldn't be better! I'll explain more about my companion, Elder Fajardo, near the end of my email! June 5th, My last day in Braga on my mission, kinda didn't even feel like I was gonna leave. As I said before, I made so many friends and connections there that will be lifelong, but I am happy to begin somewhere new again! I visited with some members and invesigators. Week 24 June 4, 2018 Hey everyone! Transfer week! This week I am getting transfered to the farthest south area! It's called Carregado. My companion will be Elder Fajardo! He's from the country El Salvador, and apparently he's super awesome, and he does not speak English so I'm soo pumped. This is gonna be dooooope.  I'm super excited for this next transfer! Every week I am getting so much more comfortable with the language and the lifestyle!   Carregado has OUTLETS!!!! and a NIKE OUTLET!!!!!!!!!!!!
